![]() The People: these people love their food, and want you to as well. ![]() It plays nicely with the smoke, especially the turkey. I am personally partial to the Cranbery Cayenne. The Sweet Jane is a classic barbecue sauce made to slather anything. The Carolina Vinegar is just that, vinegar forward and spicy. It's peppery and has the right amount of vinegar to cut the mayo. Dip your macaroni and cheese on your beans. Every side, and I have tried, can be paired with the meats. None of us, and there were 5 of us, finished the 2 sides that came with our meals. Each meat is made to pair perfectly with each sauce, and every side Just a delicate ring of smoke to seal in juices. There are no "barks" of overcooked sauces to saw through. The meats are well cooked with beautiful smoke rings. It's not oily or acrid, it's smoked and flavorful. It's why you go here, right? Every morsel of food here is kissed with sweet smoke. The first time I was lucky enough to find this place, the second, I was lucky enough to return. Hopefully the establishment build up its reputation by improving it’s food quality just lightly and I think it would be an awesome St. If I want it interesting place to shoot guns for a couple hours and then have lunch this would definitely be my choice. What I seek out this restaurant and go back again just for the food? Probably not. They could’ve been slightly more generous with the food, but it wasn’t a horrible experience. If I was judging the quantity of the food over the price that I paid, I may have overpaid just slightly. Definitely a moist and creamy potato salad, I was on the fence of whether or not they make it in house or they buy it from somewhere, but it is an improvement over a lot of different places. The beans tasted pretty out of the can, and could’ve been improved with a little bit of meat scraps in them. The sauces on the table were pretty average nothing too spectacular or different. It was pretty gray and lacked a lot of flavor but the tenderness was on point. It appears they trim off the good parts like the fat and a lot of the bark and just serve the brisket. The brisket well, needs a whole bunch of work. The ribs are pretty decent definitely tender. They use a slightly different method here, slightly different recipes, some could use improvement and others are fine. Louis, mostly because a lot of those other restaurants use the same methods and it appears they’ve all worked at the same place. After reviewing a whole bunch of barbecue places all over the United States this one is pretty much middle of the road. The idea and concept behind having a barbecue place along with the shooting range is awesome. With that being said this establishment brings. I assume there’s no rules against posting multiple times in a place if you go multiple times. I’m always slightly wary of any place that has reviews by one person and it’s a third of the top reviews.
